You may also want to talk to your health care provider about doing some targeted support for rebuilding your intestinal lining that got damaged over the years. Researchers have found that your neurotransmitters (your brain chemistry) come mostly from your gut. So you want to help it heal and rebuild.
Gluten intolerance can affect so many systems because the gut inflammation means you are less able to absorb nutrients. If your sister has celiac you might want to get yourself tested too.
